Prague, 9 October: Coexistence of various ethnic groups, a UN resolution
against Cuba and retaliation for terrorist attacks on the USA were on the agenda
of the talks between Guatemalan Vice-President Juan Reyes and [Czech] Senate
Deputy Speaker Premysl Sobotka today...
Sobotka said that Guatemala had agreed with a UN draft resolution condemning
the violation of human rights in Cuba, submitted by the Czech Republic.
Guatemala's position strongly angered Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Sobotka added.
