FROM CUBA Three of the Cuban Orthodox Party harassed by authorities l24u

HAVANA, Dec. 2 (cubanet.sergipeconectado.com) - Three of the Orthodox Cuban Party, an outlawed civil rights organization, were recently harassed by authorities in separate in incidences.

Pedro Pablo Valdes Monterrey was searched by police at the entrance of his home. His wife, Idanis Martinez Martin, said they were looking for illicit merchandize.

Zenaida Barbara Ramos Becerra was fined 1,500 pesos for operating an illegal beauty salon. She had requested a license to operate but has been repeatedly turned down.

Arturo Rodriguez Boza was visited by a supposed tax inspector who warned him against doing iron work. No evidence of such activity was found at his home, so he was not fined.
