FROM CUBA Cuban dissident couple ordered to appear in different police stations for questioning 6a4g6q

HAVANA, Cuba, November 4 (cubanet.sergipeconectado.com) - Enri Saumell Pea, president of the dissent Republican Alternative human rights group, and his wife, Miriam, were summoned to appear on the same day and the same time for questioning -but at separate police stations in different parts of the city.

During three hours of questioning, an official named "Gabriel" threatened to imprison Saumell Pea, 40, again if he didn't desist from campaign for open-air meeting areas for dissidents. He was jailed from December of last year until March.

An official named "Yan" told Saumell's wife that she should get her husband to stop his activities.

Saumell Pea was questioned in Central Havana and his wife in Marinao.
