HAVANA, Cuba, Oct. 14 (cubanet.sergipeconectado.com) - A
police officer hit Fernando Snchez Javier,
11-year-old grandson of the president of the Democratic
Solidarity Party, according to neighbors who witnessed
the incident.
The incident occurred October 4 when the youth
was playing with a friend in on Oquendo Street.
When the youths started scuffling, a police agent
intervened and punched Sanchez in the nose, neighbors
said. His 19-year-old brother came to his defense
and was also hit, they said.
The brothers were taken to the police station.
