Wife of Margarito Broche visits prisoner 703rh
HAVANA, Cuba, August 9 (Reinaldo Cosano
Aln / cubanet.sergipeconectado.com) - During
a visit on the morning of August 6th, the
doctor who attends the prisoner of conscience
Margarito Broche Espinosa, who recently
suffered a heart attack, informed his wife,
Mara de la Caridad Noa Gonzlez,
that her husband's blood pressure was stabilized
and if it continued to remain stable, Margarito
would be transferred to the intermediate
care (therapy) unit.
Mara was able to see her husband
through a window of the room where they
(hospital officials) keep him. She said
he was conscious, hungry, and that they
gave him some fruit juice to ingest.
Margarito Broche Espinosa, 46, from Camajuan,
Villa Clara province, was tried and sentenced
to 25 years of imprisonment under Cause
No. 1 of 2003, on April 7, 2003.
