Masked men rob a money exchange office 604bn
HAVANA, July 1 (Ana Leonor Daz,
Grupo Decoro / cubanet.sergipeconectado.com) - Two masked
men held up a government money exchange
agency on Wednesday and store 10,000 convertible
pesos and an undetermined amount of non-convertible
pesos.
El hecho ocurri pasado el medioda
en la CADECA de 12 y 21, prxima
a la cntrica esquina de 23 y 12,
en el Vedado. La instalacin tiene
categora de centro municipal que
dirige la labor de sus similares en el municipio
Plaza, y abarca los barrios Vedado, Nuevo
Vedado y una parte del Cerro.
Eye witness Carlos Alberto Reyes said the
men had stockings pulled over their faces
and that one of them carried a gun, which
he fired when the pair fled to a waiting
car. They disarmed a guard. There were four
employees but no customers in the agency.
The robbery occurred at noon at the agency,
located in the Vedado district.
