FROM CUBA Dissidents injured in clash with government ers 475154

SANTA CLARA, Cuba, October 20 (Niurvys Daz Remond, Cubanacn Press / cubanet.sergipeconectado.com) - Paramilitaries attacked a group of dissident pacifists, four of whom suffered injuries that required medical treatment.

The dissidents were outside a building where a hearing was being held October 14 in a case involving a colleague, Noelia Pedraza Jimnez.

After the clash, they went to a nearby police station where they were told they needed medical statements to back up their claim.

Other paramilitaries followed them to the police station where a further clash occurred.

The Arnaldo Milin Castro provincial hospital treated Jess Eloy Alberto Gutirrez for a contusion, Yunieski Garca Lpez for a broken wrist and collarbone, Yoel Fonseca for a fractured ankle and Yordi Tpanesfor a dislocated collarbone.
