FROM CUBA Medical doctor seeks exit visa from government 4e156d

HAVANA, February 24 (Richard Rosell / cubanet.sergipeconectado.com) - Dr. Olga Lidia Esquijorrosa Gmez is testing a government resolution that says medical doctors must practice for five years before being freed from their obligations and allowed to travel abroad.

Esquijorrosa Gmez has requested an exit visa from the government after being granted a political refuge visa from the U.S. Interests Section in Havana.

Since the exit visa has not been forthcoming, Esquijorrosa Gmez has written to foreign embassies, international organizations and religious groups asking them to pressure the government on her behalf.
